Catching Up
I've been pretty busy mapping out new designs, and thinking about a new studio space on the east coast. Here's an overdue update...
I had a trunk show at The Mezzanine Gallery in Cleveland. It was a benefit for the YWCA's Nurturing Independence and Aspirations Program, which provides education, life skills and job training to young woman aging out of foster care, and to Independence Place, which offers permanent housing and support to at-risk young adults as they leave foster care.
I had a chance to meet Kate and Geoff Baker, the owners of the gallery. Here are a few photos of the Mezzanine, trunk show set up, a sample of Geoff's photography, and a hip friend and customer of Kate's. I hope to make this an annual event.

Benchmade in Raleigh
Preparing for the new collection. Raleigh is proving to be a less distracting place to get my work done these days. Thanks to Brian and Lily for allowing me to use their studio.
